Sep 6 : Fr. Roberto Genuin, OFM Cap., was elected Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, on 3rd September, 2018 during the 85th General Chapter of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, held at Collegio Internazionale San Lorenzo da Brindisi, Roma, Italia.
Fr. Roberto hails from the Province of Venice in Italy. He will remain in office for the duration of six years term.
He was born on September 20, 1961 and entered the order at the age of 11 and began the novitiate on October 3, 1980 and made his temporary profession on October 4, 1980 and was ordained priest on June 27, 1987. He has been serving as the provincial of Venice before becoming the general of the Order.
